Opinions | Georgetown Prof: White Males Deserve ‘Miserable Deaths,’ Castration

                  10/4/2018

Georgetown Professor

In our Constitutional Republic, we believe in “innocent until proven guilty”, a right also known as due process. The idea is that the average citizen can be free from false allegations. Anyone who wishes to accuse someone of something illegal or immoral would have to show evidence proving the guilt of the accused. It was a novel concept at its inception, and apparently still is to this day.

Earlier this week Dr. Carol Christine Fair, an associate professor in the Security Studies Program at Georgetown, said white Republican senators who defended Kavanaugh, “deserve miserable deaths”.

“Look at [this] chorus of entitled white men justifying a serial rapist’s arrogated entitlement,” Dr. Fair wrote. “All of them deserve miserable deaths while feminists laugh as they take their last gasps. Bonus: we castrate their corpses and feed them to swine? Yes.”

Prior to this rant, she posted an equally insidious and disturbing rant on Twitter, calling the Supreme Court nominee a “rapist” and “perjurer.” She went on to describe the GOP as a “f---ing death cult” and “filthy swine.”

To her supporters, she comes across as a woman fighting for victims of sexual assault. And that indeed would be noble and altruistic, despite the calls for violence and death. However, there’s just one small problem: there is no evidence corroborating the “gang rape” story. And yet a professor from a prestigious university is throwing around baseless accusations as if they were indeed facts.

But facts are difficult to come by when the alleged event occurred over three decades ago, and the alleged victim has no memory of any details. The purpose of this side-show against Kavanaugh is to elicit an emotional response from women, to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation, and to derail the midterm elections. This tactic has worked very well for the Democrats in the past. Roy Moore is a shining example of the victimization that happens at the hands of the “tolerant left”.

Thanks to the #MeToo movement, we are told that we should believe every woman, regardless of evidence or common sense. This kind of thinking is what led to the incarceration of Brian Banks. After being falsely accused of rape, the young man spent 5 years in prison.

Nineteen-year-old Nikki Yovino cost two young men their college scholarships and educations after she falsely accused them of rape.

And it’s not just false rape allegations causing trouble in contemporary American society - false allegations of racism and sexism are equally rampant. In June of this year, Khail Cavil, a server at Salt Grass Steakhouse in Odessa, TX admitted that his viral Facebook post about racist customers was fabricated.

Last September, five black cadets at the U.S. Air Force Academy discovered racial slurs written on whiteboards outside their rooms, including one message that read, "go home n-----."

The school launched an investigation and found that one of the boys targeted by the remarks was responsible for writing them. These types of false allegations of hate crimes have increased exponentially in the era of #MeToo. But the answer to sexual assaults and victimization is not more victimization.

False allegations bring out the torch-wielding villagers before the truth can even begin making the rounds. There are indeed consequences when a man is falsely accused of rape. They include incarceration (with prison rape being likely), job loss, and being labeled as a sexual predator. Because of this, due process is necessary. It’s absolutely ridiculous to assume that women are incapable of lying, especially about sexual assault.

“My fundamental position is that women are human beings, with the full range of saintly and demonic behaviors this entails, including criminal ones. They're not angels, incapable of wrongdoing. If they were, we wouldn't need a legal system.” ― Margaret Atwood
